Reign + Keena Fashions
This was a unique noble's gown created by an Eladrin designer wanting to merge Eladrin and Aundairian fashion. Left, the undergarment is very typical of Aundairian gowns, being a very fine skirt and chemise which contributes the long sleeves to the dress. Then, over that, a finely crafted piece of soft leather so fine one can hardly tell it's leather. (This doubles as leather armor, providing the wearer a measure of protection.) The right is just the same work without an under-chemise with braided leather pants, bracers and boots instead.
I have envisioned this dress in Feywild purples and blues with some soft greens. The leaves are a soft, shimmery metallic silver cloth.
I used a modified fashion design base for this. I got tired of the dark lines of the one I found so I remade it.
Anyway I have never really played with fashion design before and these were my very first attempts and approaching fashion design in this manner. Sure I've drawn clothes on people, but it was more that I was drawing a person and put clothes on them. This time I was trying to DESIGN Eberron fashions. For those not familiar with Eberron, it's a Dungeons and Dragons setting that has fantasy/noir/steampunk elements. The clothes can get pretty bizarre. At any rate...
Yay for ebony design pencils and my red/blue pencils.
