A Very Special PonyHi. I'm Cypher and I'm a pony.

I'm an Alicorn to be exact. There seems to be a lot of confusion as to what an Alicorn is. An Alicorn is a race of ponies just like Pegasus and Unicorn and Earth Ponies. Alicorns are not better than other ponies. Some Alicorns are better at some things but other kinds of ponies are better at some things too. Generally, Unicorns are the best at magic, Pegasus are the best at flying, and Earth ponies have the best connection with the Earth. Alicorns are like unto the other three kinds of ponies in the same way that a bard is like a fighter, a mage and a rogue in DnD.

That is to say, Alicorns can do all of the things that the other three types of ponies can do, but are not specifically BEST at one of those things.

I think much or even most of the confusion about Alicorns comes from the fact that our beloved rulers, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, just so happen to be Alicorns. As such, many ponies believe that Alicor
